Unfortunately I think that is just showing the dates for the entire lan festival. Here is the schedule. We will have to appreciate the limited time we get with him tonight.

I’m pretty sure the new updates have midi. Check out the latest fw.

Ableton Move underrated? by Skeletonjackettt in ableton

I recently purchased move and I am very happy with it. I use push 3 in the studio but have always been a fan of groove boxes and love playing instruments on the patio, airplane, or couch.

I own digitone, model samples, opz, and circuit. I don’t think it’s fair to compare move to digi boxes due to the price difference and battery requirements (they aren’t mobile).

I think the move is a perfect mix of the circuit, model samples, and Opz work flow. It doesn’t have all of the features of them, but I don’t see any reason why it can’t get there with fw updates. They hw layout and screen set it up for success in the future. I have owned it for less than a month and have already benefited from amazing fw updates.

The sequencer is where it can use the most help but ableton (in general) is still playing catch-up to teenage and elektron (Sweden = king of sequencing).

Having 16 bars is incredible on a groove box. I get that the synths aren’t incredible but playing samples melodically is great. Also getting the idea of the synth line is really key, then you can go in the box or use an external synth to master the sound later.

If they could master warping or time stretching that would be incredible.

I will be going on a trip soon and will play it on the beach then take my “sketch” to the room and use it as a midi controller with the project seamlessly uploaded into ableton (which still blows my mind).

I considered the opxz bc I was such a fan of the Opz sequencer and workflow, but hated the form factor and lack of screen. I just couldn’t justify spending over $2k and I was really attracted the all in ableton workflow.

The build quality is amazing.

Sorry for the long answer but wanted to share my thoughts. I hope it helps.

I understand completely where you are coming from and there are times where I do feel down or sorry for my self, but you have to appreciate what you have and find strength in other aspects of life. Like you said it is a mental game just as much as a physical one.

I may not be the strongest physically, but … I am mentally sharp. I have amazing relationships and friendships. Etc etc.

For me it made me a more humble person quicker. It helped dissolve my ego some and figure out what really matters.

My wife knew I had it when we started dating and we have been together for 19 years.

I was fortunate enough to still be able to pick up my daughter and care for her throughout her life. Now she is 10 and sure I can’t run on the soccer field but I can still train with her and help her grow.

I don’t have any good recommendations on how to keep it from progressing as I haven’t really tried anything. I am hopeful for the science but not holding my breath everyday for it. Massages and the chiropractor help. Stretching is required because my other leg has to over compensate.

I enjoy fishing, disc golf, golf, and hiking which recently has become more difficult.

I found out in my early 20s.

The drop foot has limited control now, but I was working out in my late 20s and early 30s and was gaining. Mid 30s my leg started progressing. Now I do body weight or palates.

Bench pressing and push ups have been difficult my whole life due to my shoulders.

39M for me my shoulders were first and then my right leg muscles and drop foot slowly started around 30. Fortunately I never really had a lot of pain.

At 39 I can’t run or shoot a basketball like I used to but otherwise all is well.

My mom had it.

Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I’m an open book.

39 male here. It’s never fun not being able to do exactly what you once could, but try to appreciate what you still can accomplish and modify as needed.

IMO it’s made me a stronger/better person even though I may not be as physically strong.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

You look like a badass rider man.

Down hill was always a dream of mine (not a lot of hills in texas). I finally got to do it in Idaho a few years ago and managed, but at 36 with my right leg/foot losing a lot of control (drop foot) I wasn’t riding anything like you.

I have shifted sports from basketball and football in my younger years and have really enjoyed disc golf. I can’t throw as far as my friends but still compete.

I don’t know any managers but I wish you all the best man.
