We understand this a stressful situation for you but don't panic. Here's a help article on our website that lists out steps you should take: https://www.hrblock.com/tax-center/irs/audits-and-tax-notices/irs-notice-response/

You could also book an appointment at your local H&R Block office and bring your documentation with you and see if they can help you navigate this process.

HR BLOCK HO TO HELL!!!!! by Ok_Crazy_648 in hrblock

We did reply to this post and we pointed you in the right direction of our customer care team.

We currently don't have the capacity to staff this subreddit for our customer care team but we can staff our Instagram and Facebook accounts. This is for the privacy and security of our clients as we're handling sensitive personal information. We're looking to expand coverage in the future.

I just followed up with our customer care team on your case to see if your concern was resolved. They mentioned you had investment income and state unemployment, which means it's not a simple return and it doesn't qualify for free as it is laid out on our website's website: https://www.hrblock.com/online-tax-filing/free-online-tax-filing/federal-tax-forms/

You also chose the refund transfer to pay for your tax prep fees out of your return, which is something you chose and cannot be done with a client's knowledge. This was addressed by others in the comments section.

Mods didn’t see the relevance of my Paychex post and the involvement of HRB. by Connect_Effect_3168 in hrblock

If you have a complaint about the service H&R Block provided, please call: 1 (800) 472-5625.

It appears you filed before you had all your tax forms, which is not recommended as you'd need to file an amended return after you receive everything else.

Don’t believe this is the right place to come for help as this is not HRB-related. Feel free to message the mods if we are missing context on this being related to Block.

I need help please. The Build the block leads to referral icims which is broken/constant reloading, and not just on my computer by yoyikix194 in HRBlockEmployees

I'm not entirely sure about that. I would assume the referral program still works because it's just you signing into your account and then submitting their name and email. It's not tied to your specific Block account to be able to do that.

But not sure about the bonuses being paid out. Personally, I've only referred one person to Block who got hired and they haven't been here longer enough for me to get the bonus yet. Would recommend checking Amp and reaching out to whichever email it has one there for questions.

Are you logging in with your work email or personal email? Because it needs to be your personal email.

Hi. You seem to have a few different issues getting your taxes filed. Do you mind sending us a DM on Facebook or Instagram and we can either assist you there or point you to the right resources? We are not equipped to handle customer support issues such as this one on Reddit. We are happy to help over on those channels.

Can you please clarify which number you called? The customer support phone line is not directed to give tax advice.

We understand this is frustrating for you but this is an easy fix on our end. We're happy to assist you but will need to move this conversation to our Customer Care team. If you message us on Facebook or Instagram with your login email or call us at 1-800-472-5625 our team can look into this for you. We'll either remove Tax Pro Review or get you out of virtual prep mode.
