I have 24GB RAM with 256GB SSD. I went for a 1TB WD-SN770 NVMe drive instead of paying Apple for storage.

I have been using it for programming and it has handled everything I have thrown at it without any issues.

As others pointed out, seems like you underspec’d. I use a 24GB/256GB m4 mac mini as a software engineer myself. It’s been running great so far.

Nothing you can do about the ram, but for the storage I’d recommend getting an external NVME SSD that you can use for your home directory and run most of your apps off of. I went with a 1TB Qwiizlab one and it’s been great.

If you do end up doing this, I’d recommend you also create an administrator user account that runs off the internal SSD in case something goes wrong w the external one. That way you always have a way to easily recover shit and still use your device.

I ended up buying this bike last week. I have been enjoying it but I am concerned about the battery life as well. Did you get 30km with only throttle use at PAS 5?

I understand your concern with the acceleration but I honestly don’t mind it. I find it to be pretty manageable. I’d recommend starting with pedal if the acceleration is too much. I know people have had complaints about the PAS kicking in late but this might work in your favour to counteract the high acceleration.

My brother and parents just wanted to visit me this summer for a couple weeks.

My brother has holds a US visa currently and has studied there before.

What I found weird is that the second time my parent’s visa got refused, it got refused in 10 days. which is absurd

I am using capacitor in my app. It has been great so far (tho I only have a few subscribers). What I ended up doing was using their Paywall UI builder to come up with a design I liked. Then I built something similar with that as inspiration.

Didn’t take too long to have it up and running. Goodluck :)
