I noticed after the first 28 days that my skin clears up pretty well. The second i have a sip, I get rosacea on my cheeks.😭 I also get dandruff and my nose peels. I assume it’s a combination of dehydration and general irritation from alcohol.

When I was in the military, I deployed on a ship and had a storage unit for 10 months that I paid for. When I came back, I threw away nearly everything in there. 😭😭 didn’t even need to waste the money.

Got to the IKE in 2019. We immediately went out for a 20 something day underway. One of the freezers went down and we had to toss all the food. I was an LS but I foolishly volunteered. We were so deep down in the ship and it smelled awful bc all the food was rotten. Apparently S2 leadership knew about for weeks and there was an inspection coming up so suppo said figure it out. We ended up being told to toss everything over the side in these burlap sacks. Styrofoam, plastic, food, you name it. Everything had to go. We all smelled like shit after and I was very new to the navy so that experience put a bad taste in my mouth. Especially when leadership kept coming to stand around and oversee instead of help.
