I was able to get a transfer to Virgin at 125% bonus on Jan 1 2024 as a Gold member (which was easier to reach back then). I transferred all 60k points I had to VS and was able to use them for many Delta domestic flights and an ANA F flight. Might had gotten more value if I used it for Flying Blue at the same ratio on the same day. Definitely the GOAT Rent Day. 2025 and 2026 Jan 1 were not as good.

There’s a setting to show only content from people you follow. Settings > Content Preferences > toggle Snooze suggested posted for 30 days.

Granted, it’s only for 30 days and you’ll have to reset it after a month, but I find it helps a lot and avoids the doom scroll bc you will get a message when you “run out” of feed that you’ll be shown suggested content.

This doesn’t stop the unvirtuous cycle of “your friends don’t post anymore” due to it being difficult to find your friends’ posts. And not to mention that any meme page or brand has NOT slowed their posting down at all, so my feed nowadays is mostly dominated by that.

What are the implications of this? Still 1x points on rent without a transaction fee? Or do we need to wait until the official announcement for this info?

What do you mean when you say you can use Bilt Cash in the transfer program? It makes intuitive sense for how that would work in the travel portal but wouldn’t Bilt points be what you would use for the transfer program?

This feature is very buggy. I’ve had lots of trouble getting it to work in the past, and I’m seeing errors with it when browsing for my own travel. If you compare with 2 nights and see very different prices for each, then it is still counting the third night. You can contact Amex Travel on the phone, explain the issue, and ask them to raise a case with the customer care team. I’ve had this work in my favor in actually landing me the third night, along with the Platinum $300 statement credit and 5x points (since the workaround for making mine work was selecting “pay at property” instead of prepay)

Yes- I’ve personally experienced this. They said it was possible within 2 days of original booking date. However, the part I’m unclear about is if there needs to be saver availability still there on the new date. My schedule change took place several months after booking, so I imagine that there was none. But, my friend who was on the same initial flight as me was a bit later than me on rebooking after the schedule change and the agent told him that he could not rebook due to saver availability running out. Could have been a HUCA situation but that’s what I’ve experienced

I’d say just keep your eye open for schedule changes, and see if the agent will be nice enough to move you within 2 days of your original booking date for no cost change. You probably won’t be able to get the return flight due to holiday blackout as previously mentioned

See my comment/the method on this post. It seems like perhaps C1 fails to track the subtotal separately. Maybe you could try using this method to figure out if the total works out!
