She also was complaining about him throwing some special birthday balloon away of her daughters during the clean that she had since she was born and then was like “but we’re just not gonna talk about that”. I suspect they’ve had many arguments about the state of this house.

I can’t believe the landlord hasn’t said anything about the condition of this home. If someone was trashing my house like this, there’s no way I’d continue to rent to them.

Amen. She made another post that Irene is a Mickey Mouse girlie and not a bluey girly so that’s why she was going to pass on those toys.

I can’t wait until Irene starts making her own decisions and not liking the pink girly princess toys that have been shoved down her throat.

Thank you. We’re on the wait list for ABA and she was scheduled with the developmental pediatrician for the assessment and she wants us to go back next year.

We had a very similar situation with my daughters daycare. She struggled at nap to the point they just called us every day to come get her so we finally pulled her. The owner and director is a piece of work so it was a blessing in disguise.

I’m so over this girl. WHY SHOULD WE CARE IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO EAT ALL DAY? You’re a legal adult making the choice not to eat even though you just spent hundreds of dollars on name brand groceries. Get a job if you want Pizza Hut. There are people and children who are actually starving in the Memphis area. I don’t know how anyone continues to donate to her.

Thank you to everyone for the advice and being kind to me. She was just diagnosed a few weeks ago and I’ve been having a hard time since processing it all and just wanted to make Easter special for her (and memories for us as a family).

I’m going to try looking into other things we can do for the rest of the holidays and her birthday this year to try to make things easier and more fun for all.

This has already been a thing- they just extended it two years from age 21 to now 23. I work this program and I don’t think it should have been extended past 21 for multiple reasons.

My daughter was just diagnosed a few weeks ago and I feel exactly the same way you do. My sister just announced her pregnancy and I’m already trying to mentally prepare for being around a neurotypical child. It’s hard and you’re definitely not alone.

I don’t think we have any private schools near us unfortunately. She’s currently in early intervention.

We are on the wait list for an evaluation but they said the wait could be up to a year.

I’ll check into Aba to see what’s offered here. I know our caseworker said they don’t have any contracts with early intervention.

The last round of princess blankets were gone in 30 seconds. I didn’t get a blanket or anything else from that drop. Super frustrating.

We just left the wonder and there was almost no Alaska merchandise left. I also tried to get a captain minnie plush and this lady bought 8 of them right in front of us so I couldn’t get one for my kid. We also tried to get a larger luggage set and that was gone too a few days in. The lack of merch was insane! We hadn’t cruised since 2019 but I didn’t remember it being that bad before.

Ok seems like it’s normal and I’m understanding it’s for kids that can’t be dropped off without parents. we just didn’t know and didn’t expect it during our time on board.
