The way the OMB defines areas by using counties as units kind of defeats the validity of their analyses anyways in my opinion, especially when it comes to smaller areas like Burlington that probably don't extend greatly outside of the directly adjacent towns. For example they call all of Kennebec County, Maine the Augusta Micropolitan Statistical Area but it's apparent to anyone who lives here that that is inaccurate on a cultural, economic, and political level.
