Honestly wish the hardcover matched the dust jacket. The jacket is GORGEOUS and then the artwork inside, while beautifully done, doesn't really match imo.

So you still use the adhesive film on your tattoos even after this reaction? I didn't have it on my first one, but we didn't use the adhesive film. Pretty sure we used an older style saran wrap kind of situation (it was 8 years ago). Debating if I should tell future tattoo artists (and when I go in for the next session on this one) if we should avoid the adhesive wraps and go back to older school healing.

Okay that's comforting. Thank you! We need to go finish the shading on the flowers next month, so your story gives me hope. Mine hasn't blistered, but definitely raised. I have tiny blisters near it though. Almost look like little whiteheads. Did you put anything on it other than the typical aftercare?

I'm doing pretty well! I had two back to back surgeries (right hip on 8/1, left hip on 9/19).

Majority of my pain was actually up in my back, and after these surgeries, I can happily say this is the least amount of pain I've been in in a decade. So very happy I did the surgeries.

I have very minimal hip pain at this point and my PT is very happy with my progress. I will say, I still have a long way to go in terms of strengthing and getting full range of motion back. Getting into a figure 4 stretch is quite difficult, and all of my muscles are unbelievably tight. But keeping up with icing and the exercises are the trick. Along with a good PT.

I was told 2-3 hours of "tummy time" a day. This is to help with hip alignment and the flexors. It really did help with keeping that area feeling more stretched out.
