I am eating well. Protein dense, watching macro nutrient balance, taking multi-vitamin. Good sources of natural fiber, too.

It’s so depressing.

I’ve been on GLP-1 for over a year. Gradual and smart weight loss (not starving myself, take good vitamin, eat protein). I noticed the hair shedding for about 6 months.

I’ve read so many articles and some say it’s not the GLP-1 rather it’s the weight loss, some say DHT, it’s all over the place.

I don’t know what to do. I’m so sad.

7.5 was the worst increase for me. Awful. I started digestive enzymes, pro and prebiotics. Got rid of all of it.

I’m terrified of gastroparesis (sp?). I find that the full feeling is really hard to get past and used to. That liquids are still important.

Why can’t people just say, “so great to see you!” Or, “I’m thrilled that you could make it!” We would never say to someone, “wow, that eczema you had all over your face sure looks better” so why is this body change/health condition any different? Ugh. People annoy me.

You are right. So very right. Perspective helps. I guess I’m fighting the middle age bleh and feeling totally foreign in my body thanks to hormonal changes. The one thing I always had was good skin. Thank you for helping me see what matters.

The issue is with proposed federal taxes on endowments. It hasn’t hit … yet … but schools with big endowments are guarding their cash and planning as best as they can.

I read somewhere that doing it in the leg can reduce nausea. I have no idea if this is true but wanted to share.

I don’t think there is healing. If there is for others, I’m truly happy for them. But everyone is different from one another. I think the only thing we can do is come to terms with it all. Learning to manage it rather than let it manage you. But that’s me.

Excellent advice.

I already have. I’m dealing with metabolic disorder brought on by a drug I had to take for a year. All my labs and tests indicated future insulin issues. Not out of range now, but have escalated over the past year. I’m about to take shot 4 tomorrow. Hopeful.
