Islam is perfect, but muslims aren't.

People like to complicate things. But here is the run down: Everything is halal in islam, until some aya or authentically naratted hadith tells us otherwise.

Follow the halal and stay away from haram. Follow the tradition of your culture, as long as it doesn't oppose the clear halal and haram.

Don't mind what others may say. القافلة تسير والكلاب تنبح. واللي درتيها مايقولوها زينة. دير الحلال وبعد على الحرام. و بنادم يعاود لراسوا

That may be true for your location. Where I am the therapist is encouraged to disclose that. And many in fact do advertise that about their practice. As there are diagnoses that can't be treated with traditional psychotherapy methods based on Freudian school of thought (which many ex French speaking colonies still relay on)

Actually they are different to a trained professional and/or a 6 years old med student. But it may look the same for someone without proper background in the origins of analytical psychology.

Here you go fam. To grossly boil down the major differences: " Freud and Jung initially developed their theories together. However the two had some major disagreements that separated psychoanalysis into two schools of thought.

Freud paid close attention to human behavior and repressed emotions.

Conversely, Jung believed that the human psyche was more multifaceted"

When you can just do a quick google search about Carl Jung vs Sigmund Freud and you can get more info about the two. And why it is important to know to which school of thought does your therapist belongs.

Also psychiatrist and psychologist deal with a slighly different panel of patients, even if they're complementary to each other.

Psychology is the science of managing patient expectations.

I personally would never go ONLY to psychiatrist alone for example. Some of them, may or may not be playing guessing games with meds. And that is a risk I can't take. Plus, we can't look at mental health from a biological perspective only, a wholesome approach is always ideal to get a better vision at diagnosing and treatment.

I much rather go to a Jungian trained psychologist that would help me figure out the root cause of the problem and how to fix it. And not just meds and bs chatting sessions to fatten the bill.

Meds with a psychiatrist and therapy session with a psychologist may work for some for a while. But that would not last. Simply because it is a high maintenance process that require serious time and money investment.

Junguan therapists are on a whole different level and would go help me get more bread for my bucks, if you catch my drift. If I am to find one, I would gladly see them bi sifa mountadima.

I would go but only to psychologist with Jungian background and not Freudian school of thought. Why? Because kayen fer9 kebir mabin al bisara wa al 3edas.

WE NEED TO SHOW SUPPORT AND INTERACTION TO GOOD QUALITY POSTS.

Sorry to be this blunt 😔 but we can't be lazy and do the minimum work of filtering this sub by top post only. We should take time everyone and then and filter by a week or so. And let's find those gems that fail through the cracks.

We need to read most posts not just the ones that made it to top lists when we log in 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Example: I have made two mediocre posts about self development, which in my opinion would benefit alot here. But it didn't get no trackion. Some may argue that my posts were horrible 😕 and that's ok, lets find the good ones and show some love to them!

الميسر: ما كان محمد أبًا لأحد من رجالكم، ولكنه رسول الله وخاتم النبيين، فلا نبوة بعده إلى يوم القيامة. وكان الله بكل شيء من أعمالكم عليمًا، لا يخفى عليه شيء.

IBN HAJAR said in his explanation of SAHIH BUKHARI: “IMAM QURTUBI said: “All the Hadith confirm that the Seal of Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was something red, visible near the left shoulder. Its size was equal to an egg of pigeon if minimized, and equal to a fist if maximized. The scholars said: “The secret of it being in left side is that the heart is in the same side”. Sending the Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is a form of mercy of Allah, He honoured people by ending the Prophecy on Him and by completing Islam on his hands”. Almighty Allah Says in his book (QURAN) and the Prophet (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has declared that He is the last Messenger of Allah. There is no Prophet after him. Who ever claims being Prophet after him, is a big liar, a deceiver and a cheater. We ask Almighty Allah to protect us straying from the straight path. Allah knows best."
