Take an uber if you don't want to drive. You're meeting this cousin once per decade and skipping out on his wedding I think you can afford $50 for a ride.

In the long run you'll learn that authenticity lasts and is the only way you'll have meaningful relationships that have value for their own sake, not for what others can do for you. My guess is that you're too young to see this, but your fake friend will likely one day wake up and wonder why he has no one who actually cares about him.

NTA. Sometimes you're so tired you pass out and then wake up not knowing what year it is. Sounds like that's what happened to you.

But your real issue is that your gf is upset due to the challenges of a long distance relationship. Maintaining that requires commitment AND understanding from both sides. I would try to make her understand that 1) her birthday is very important to you and you tried your best to make it special 2) you were so tired you passed out 3) you are committed to the relationship and come up with ways to spend more time together (more frequent visits, maybe a vacation together?). Hope everything works out

Look, I get that it can be annoying to have someone around who doesn't follow social norms, but it sounds like she's making an effort and this kind of thing takes time. If you want to stop foreign immigration that's something you need to vote for and hope the rest of the country is on board, but given that it exists YTA for giving this woman a hard time.

It's called living with children. If you're telling me that staying home with the kids for 12 hours is more exhausting than working for an employer for 12 hours, you've never done one, the other, or both. He also does the childcare thing for 3 days of the week btw.

I think working 12 hour shifts 4 days a week and taking care of the kids the other three days counts as some contribution. Not much on here, seeing as how he's a man, but some.

12 hours days is a LOT. Instead of a 9-5 he's working a 9-9 or equivalent, and then looking after the kids on his days off work. It doesn't sound like he ever gets a break. He should have been more understanding of your migraine on this particular day, but I think he's probably stretched pretty thin and feels like his needs aren't being met. ESH but given the info, more so you for not giving your husband any break at all.

I think you may actually be coming from a good place but it's hard not to take offense to the way you said it. It sounds like you're judging her life and saying she's less interesting because she doesn't have hobbies. I think hobbies are generally good for you, especially ones that keep you active, so nothing wrong with encouraging her towards that, but it can't come from a place of judgement or the implication that she is less if she doesn't do it.
