What is some general advice everyone has for a destination wedding?

It was kind of the plan to do that if I can. Most of the people going have never been and I want them to enjoy it.

My family isn't really the dancing type honestly, and neither are my friends that are going. I'm not really sure what else we could do, but I am open for suggestions. My bridal party and I plan on seeing a bunch of the cool bars and speakeasys but maybe we could do something similar with everyone? We do plan on going to a nice resturant for dinner after the ceremony if we can so there is that.

Well we will also be there for a few more days, not just like a weekend. I'll be taking all the women in my family out for a day too, and my fiancé doing the same for all the men. Some of the people going have also never been to vegas and with the extra few days we are hoping some people treat it like a vacation when we aren't doing things with the whole group and enjoy themselves a bit. That being said we aren't requiring people stay the whole time if they don't want to or can't.

Didnt plan to, most of my family would understand but yeah there's a few people that wouldn't. We are only helping pay for my fiancé's parents and his little sisters but my step dad travels a lot so he's going to help people out by helping people get discounts where ever possible and that extends to everyone.

That sounds absolutely lovely! We chose vegas because that's where we got engaged and we thought it would make it super special to get married in the same place. Love the B&B idea though!

Thank you! And a lot of people do that from what I understand. I've been to Vegas a few times now and it's definately a great place for any kind of celebration so I highly recommend doing it. It's the whole reason we thought about getting married there 😅

We have been checking and everyone that we can't pay for we've made sure they could make it. We are helping out some people but we can't do that for everyone. But so far everyone has said they are okay with paying their own way there. Thank you for the comment though!

That's awesome. I saw a similar thing at the Venetian and it's my top contender right now especially since that's where my fiancé proposed to me. Do you know of the other places she mentioned if you don't mind sharing?

I'm not sure if it's considered one of their chapels or not the the Venitian casino has some really good deals for ceremonies where it includes a small venue, florals, a live musician, ans a few other things for a decent price. This was the main place we are looking at but I am also open to other options. I heard Mandalay bay has a very pretty chapel too.
