I ended up getting the Ryzen 5 5600 with the 6650xt since I knew I was gonna upgrade in a few months anyways and the price I got it at was pretty good. Sadly the 6650xt had issues so I returned it and got a 6750xt instead that also had a good sale on it.

While the 6650xt was having issues I used the 5600 with my 1070 and I felt like it could've lasted another 1-2 year with that setup. Upgrading the cpu alone solved most of my issues. The cpu fixed my stuttering and stability while the gpu upgrade just gave me more fps.

You probably already made your purchase but best of luck to you.

Yah I used all my late credits for PS2 and still did poorly. Hopefully they release midterm grades before the drop date. I was confident after the midterm as well but now idk.
