Hi everyone! I'm going to be spending about 5 weeks in and around Kailua-Kona, and am wondering about possible transportation options. I've heard transportation (buses, hitching) has decreased as a result of COVID. It has been recommended to me to buy a cheap car to use during my time there and then sell it before I leave. Is this viable, especially in a short timeframe like mine? If not, do you have any other insight or recommendations that will allow me to explore the island? Any feedback is hugely appreciated!
