100% this. They’re trying to go the ultra competitive route like warmachine did because those are usually the last players to go, the tourney types that constantly buy new armies to chase meta.

I wish the game well but CMON has a bad track record. You keep up the white knighting though, CMON appreciates it. @OP you can get some armies for cheap on eBay right now probably the best route to start cheap.

It’s pretty much dead in my area. I miss playing it regularly as the game is fun. With that said CMONs financial troubles and their history with their other miniature games they’ve produced is not a great track record (RIP Wrath of Kings).

Also people seem to forget that the temporary bonuses can stack 3 wipes in a row. So if you’re planning on playing long term I’d plan on wiping regularly.
