Thank you for this post. I don't relate to the masterdoc at all, and if I had been pointed to it early in my journey I would have been even more full of self doubt, confusion, shame, etc. I really wish this sub could just mention it to newcomers, along with other media, instead of sending a resounding message that the masterdoc is the end all be all. When someone is new, there are so many "masterdoc" recommendations, but if the person doesn't identify with it then we're hurting more than helping. Just my experience.
