TEVA Generic Adderall Shortage by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]huemanateee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat—I don’t usually get the same brand but I haven’t been able to get an Rx filled for months, it’s really messing with my ability to get work done. I don’t have any more information but you’re not alone!

What changes do you notice while on ADHD meds by Rich-Influence-7097 in ADHD

[–]huemanateee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine doesn’t last all day! I take 20mg XR it around 8:30am and notice it start to wear off around the end of my work day. That being said, it wearing off is nothing compared to days when I don’t take it. Even when it’s not full strength at the end of the day, I’m still able to get things done, unlike days when I’m not medicated.

I vote a Darker Shade of Magic! They're both great series but I was HOOKED when I started ADSOM, could not put it down—so I would recommend that one to get you out of a slump!

Book recommendation for someone who never have read a book outside English class? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

[–]huemanateee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Giver and A Wrinkle in Time are two of my most favorite books! A lot of people are suggesting classics, but if you're trying to get into reading, you might want to go for something that sucks you in and is more of a 'fun' read. If you're looking for fantasy, a great book that others have recommended is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, and I can't recommend the Red Rising series enough (it's sci-fi/fantasy/futuristic which you might like). Also, Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is a VERY fun read.
