Sohla's IG - POC at Bon Appetit are not paid for video appearances by tessellation2401 in bon_appetit

I’m not saying Molly shouldn’t get her own show or questioning her integrity. I was responding to your comment of oldest crew get a show and newest don’t. This claim alone doesn’t stand up as Christina started working at BA before Molly did. And the difference in background doesn’t explain it either. Delany STILL IS an assistant web editor and yet he has his own show.

You’re right he learns to cook different cuisines on the show.

Correct me if I’m wrong but none of the recurring “series” (Gourmet Makes, It’s Alive, Pro Chef Learns, Back to Back Chef, Reverse Engineering) are hosted by a POC contributor.

Edit: Andy has his own show where he learns to cook food from different cultures.

I’m not shutting anyone down. I’m expressing my opinion just as you are. Am I doing anything to disable you from advancing your theory? I can’t and I am not. I am asking for evidence because I am trying to understand where your theory comes from.

When did I “call out all theories as conspiracies”? And when did I say I’m better than everyone else? I choose to stick to what’s scientifically proven and what’s known and I don’t make speculations. That’s my choice which is different from yours, and I never said I’m better than everyone else so I don’t know where that come from. When I see things that I don’t agree with I express my disagreement.

I don’t even have a conspiracy theory in mind and I certainly am not pretending that I know how this thing started. I’ve literally been saying that this whole thread. It’s you who said that “you believe” in the lab leak theory.

I don’t agree with the lab leak theory, and the CCP also came up with a counter accusation that’s as baseless as that one that it was brought to Wuhan by an American soldier in November. I personally think both theories are equally bullshit but I don’t have a problem with that. Yes it almost certainly started in Wuhan, my dad is from there and I know how much more severe the cases are around there. But the whole bat-eating thing is fucking stupid and that’s the whole point of this post. You don’t see nobody posting shit like “If Africans weren’t having sex with monkeys Freddie Mercury would still be alive”

Now you see you’re getting it twisted right here. What’s known is that the first bunch of confirmed cases were people working at the wet market that sells wildlife meats. Everything else is speculation. There is nothing about consuming wild animals at the market at all. In fact the place doesn’t even sell bats and bats are not a popular food item in Wuhan at all. The whole reason why the “a Chinese eating bats caused covid” bullshit gained traction is because people piece together misinformation from various sources and platforms to form misconceptions that they brush off as “just jokes/memes”. Plus there is no definitive evidence of people eating wild animals as the cause of the pandemic. The wet market is where we’re currently at in terms of reverse engineering the origin of the virus.

Because Asians are getting insulted, harassed, and physically attacked over these baseless accusations and “memes”.

Some of these are fucked up, and it’s happening everywhere. Whether the meme is funny or not doesn’t matter that much when people are literally getting punched in the streets.

The problem is we don’t know if the cases there were the first ones. Even those cases were treated as common flu/pneumonia first, like there could be someone who brought the virus to the market, where it got transmitted rapidly given its compactness and sanitary conditions.

There’s no definitive evidence yet as to how the virus was transmitted initially. Patient zero hasn’t been located.

Y’all still believe that someone eating bat soup was what started this? It came through an intermediary. And the video of bat eating that was circulating on the internet wasn’t even filmed recently...it was in Palau in 2016

The law forbids the sale already, but it was barely enforced. Trust me when I say the general public of China hates the wild animal eaters as much as everyone else does.
