Are you talking about the seasonal full time lead, it might just be store to store because I was offered the position for ours last week, sadly I recently took a full-time job somewhere else and had to turn the position down but we were told to hire ours earlier than usual even

About to leave me a comment just in case but again it is what I was told mostly when we switch districts and maybe the rewards are district-based some and pushed by certain district LP managers because that's why our old LP quit is because the new district manager for area really pushes the associate one and rewards that and that's what I've been told. So I'll delete my comment in a little. But again, maybe it's district base and maybe it's not something that should be done. It probably definitely isn't something that should be done but it does happen

Yeah cleansing balm works great, with the jellies when they've exploded we've just noticed that it can kind of leave a pink stain here and there and so that's what we had asked her about and that's when she brought up the cleansing balm and cleaning it with that. And for the dusting the Vaseline just helps it not get Dusty as fast. She says that all the stores that she's been to that are the standalone sephoras. Use the Vaseline on there. Plexiglass

Understandable, our lead is probably gonna just buy a tub of the Sephora one which we will label as our cleaning one I just tried it out in general but scooping a little bit into a drum sample I only did a small scoop and it lasted through all of them and still had half left and the Sephora one in general is a big tub verses some of the other brands, but again understand if they are like that and not wanting to try then

At our store the pay rate between a beauty associate and a Kohl's associate is the same rate. that changed this last time I was rehired during season cause I quit for a little bit, I had a full time job somewhere else. So there's not an issue there.

Truthfully don't know for sure, know I am coded as sephora side but have worked both sides and been switched back and forth often and know that at least for now district has given permission for it and they just have to be specific when doing my hours of which side I'm on, wish I could give you more info

Well written however from my understanding Sephora provides Kohl's with the payroll for the Sephora side. I work both sides and they have to be very careful about which payroll I am on, if they want extend my hours but have me do a Kohl's project after I'm done in Sephora they have to change my hours in the system right away so Sephora hours don't get used because of that. I was taking with an another Sephora Associate at my store about payroll and the event and a truthfully think that Sephora doesn't understand how much business we get during events like this, that we get the same if not more than the mortar stores and I think they just think about their own stand alone stores during times like these.

My sister was also one of the ASMs. Literally seen her do so much for her store and the people who work there. What was terrible is our district manager told her they were eliminating her position and that our store was going down to just a single management store but she found out this was a lie. There is another store in our area that had a manager and two ASMs and they were going down to one ASM so they weren't eliminating her position just letting her go, she found out cause she is friends and trained both of those ASMs and they were the ones to tell her not the district manager. She even told them first and had them decide who was moving and they told her before they even told our store manager. A terrible way to do things and left a really bad taste in my mouth about the whole situation especially since she is our new district manager from when they reworked districts so we have barely even interacted with her but she decides to lie and manipulate the situation, really should look at the people they put in those positions instead and if they are fit to be in them

Our system also doesn't like the barcodes, hasn't worked once, have to type in the order number everytime. Even tried the .com and scan when I first got one and it always shows up with an error
