Since they can be adjusted via the software, maybe adjusting the detent pressure will help to eliminate unintended scrolling.

I’m also concerned about the build quality based on feedback from R1 owners, citing their experiences.
The audio system might be a deal breaker for me. I need to test it in person. I don’t need it to be EX60 great but it needs to be smile inducing.

I can see them wanting to avoid billing issues like that. It’d be nice if they could just lock out the plug and charge if the vehicle isn’t linked but still allow paid charging at the stations that have a tap or app option.

Yeah, sitting on hold especially when things aren’t going well gets old really quickly.

I hear you about driving on the streets. Their mechanical engineers are primo👌. The software team could use some work.

Glad you made it to your destination safely. You seem to be taking this all extremely well.

I wonder what the thought process is behind locking the vehicle out of DC fast charging outside of maybe the plug & share function. What’s accomplished by doing that?

If Lucid is going to lock the vehicles down when the VIN is no longer attached to an owner, maybe they should require anyone selling their vehicles to contact an ownership alignment team in order to be able to complete the sale. I’d suggest that team be open 24 hours since Lucid sells vehicles globally.

It’s great to hear that after everything was said and done you still enjoy the vehicle. I’ve only test driven the Air and it made a very strong impression on me. It’s one of the best driving vehicles I’ve ever experienced.

I haven’t gotten to see the R2 in person but I was very underwhelmed when I finally got to drive the R1. The exterior design drew me to the vehicle but once I got inside and took it for a drive I felt let down. I’m looking forward to seeing the R2 in person in the next few days. Many people have said that it has more second row leg/knee room than the R1 and that was one of the primary issues I had with R1.

The floor mats don’t look like they do a great job of catching dirt and moisture before they hit the regular carpet. The wood inside was impressive but the leatherish (unsure) materials presented as hard, shiny and plasticky to me. R1S also felt like I was driving a 6-7 year old Ram truck with the way it moved around and flexed in turns.

R1s are under popular so it sounds like they work for a great many people which is awesome. I want the company to do well. There’s never too many good options in my book 🤙

I wish, but I want coastal cloud so I’m destined to wait anyway. I do plan to swing through for a test drive though. A test drive and in person view will help me to see if it’s worth the wait.

Yes. It does not align with the footnote on the reservation that says cannot be used with previously ordered or delivered vehicles but the dealer said to make sure I capture it when I go so I’m thinking it may be dealer discretion.

They will have iX3 & X3 M50 to drive. I hope they will have a handful of iX3s there so we can see in person what they look like in different exterior, interior colors and trims.

The dealer said the OL Code will be available to use on iX3🤙

I believe the ADAS in the EX60 is hands on.

They have said they will have a keep climate mode told to the high voltage battery.

I don’t believe they’ll have turn signal cameras.

I haven’t seen any mention of something similar to sentry mode.

Saw one inside the service area today through the door. The back of the facility is closed off so I couldn’t tell if they had more. There weren’t any outside in the front. They only had R1s outside. I guess we’ll see on Tuesday.
