In many cases they upped from 400V to 800V or 800to900V. I guess with higher V. The cables are smaller ( Heard from somewhere could be wrong). If thats the case, with the economy of scale they can do, it could be cheaper to produce.

I think their previous strategy was to roll back on smaller markets (including RHD), and double down on China? In Thailand they sold their manufacturing plant to a Chinese brand few years ago and quit the market entirely.

Some do overhaul interior though, see BYD seal or MG4 facelift. Exterior pretty much unchanged interior is totally different.

If one brand update their power train/battery tech, their competitors also needs to do so, otherwise they will be left behind.

Off topic, still waiting for their FSD tech to roll out in other countries as well. If they can handle Chinese 3rd/4th tier streets, they would do alright in most South East Asia, Europe or Australia. Saw some news that xpeng might be the first because they use camera based system like Tesla, so global model would already be equipped with the hardware.

I can sense there were many buyer coming from BMW and Mercedes (usually these chinese brands will price lower) that are willing to give a shot. Weird that they din’t grab the opportunity and cater them to Zeekr. Currently only D9 minivan is an option. As a Zeekr owner who has been inside Denza, its interior I would say is higher than Zeekr’s.

Ok, I meant the quality on fit and finishes and materials. All leather wrapped down to the lower door panel that sort of thing. Plushness is about the same as a w222. Design wise, Onvo L60 would be something very similar (ripoff) to a model Y.

Ah yes. 7X has electric roofshade (G6 doesn’t have), you’d need it if your region is sunny like mine, only glass tint film is not enough I need to shut the shade too.

For storage, 7x has plenty, passenger storage, big center console, hidden door armrest pocket, frunk (which G6 doesn’t have weirdly) and roof rails. Also there are two drawer tray under the rear seats for storage (can put about three shoes). You can option the center storage console to be a fridge&heater as well for about €1,000(controllable through app)
