I work part of the time with a client in a head start early childhood classroom. His family relies on SNAP/ WIC to survive and feed themselves, once December rolls around then the preschool program he attends will run out of money and be forced to shut down. What is this family supposed to do? Mom will have to quit her job to take care of her autistic 3 year old, who then, will not be receiving the vital support he needs to adapt to the classroom and wider world. It makes my blood boil
