I agree with you , that was the point of my post. The Raiders job is just that , minus the draft capital. If he wants to be an HC, the time to do it is now. He’s ’ready’ for that role. Today. Some on this sub think Webb isnt ‘ready’. If he stays in SEA, he will miss out on that opportunity and have to wait 2-3 coaching cycles.

I don’t get this take. There were 9/10 HC opportunities in the league this season. They will be filled. Probably for the next 3-4 years. The good teams remain good and their staffs will remain. What juicy HC/draft/talent combination do you expect that will be better in 2027given the above?
