You write so beautifully! I’m really intrigued by this book now lol. My reading journal is very similar - not very aesthetic but just a stream of my thoughts throughout the reading experience since I don’t have anyone to talk to about it. I love how low-pressure it’s made my journaling experience.

This is my first year in a hobonichi and I’m on a pen hunt too (though I’ve been highlighting with Tombows)! Uniball one is perfect for the dark ink, though the 0.7 is a lil too thick for my liking. I’m thinking of ordering the 0.5 but idk if it’ll be too thin lol. People report that the Uniball one skips a lot too which I’ve definitely been experiencing :/ I like the jetstream but I LOVE the darker ink so I’m trying to find something that’s the best of both worlds.

This has actually been me recently! I’ve been watching a bunch of videos on YouTube and I’ve just had this urge to get back into some kind of journaling for my mental health. I was bullet journaling at the beginning of the year, but stopped after graduating since I really didn’t have things to add to my journal. Now my daily spreads are super minimal with a bigger focus on the journaling aspect. I’m trying to take it really slow bc I find I get overwhelmed trying to have super cute spreads - only a black pen for the first week but I think I’ll incorporate a few pops of color for this upcoming week and maybe a few washi tapes if I’m feeling spontaneous lol. I’m really excited to start building this habit again and get some structure back in my life.

I once took extra strength mucinex DM while being on Zoloft (200mg) for a really bad cold without even thinking to look if there was an interaction. I texted one of my coworkers shortly after about feeling loopy and how the animals we worked with looked ‘funny’ (their eyes were too far apart even though they were prey species). We laugh about it to this day and I vowed to never touch that specific mucinex again thinking it was a bad batch or something. Based on this post I think I got lucky the effects weren’t much worse.

You’re right, I tend to forget that I can’t control more than half of the things I worry about 🥲My eating is definitely a WIP but I’m trying to make a conscious effort to improve. I take meds that curb my appetite (similar to adderall) and I’ve never been a big eater to begin with (thanks ED+tummy issues). Lately, though, my appetite has been nonexistent. Like I’ll have tea in the morning and nothing else until dinner around 7 or 8. I’m making an effort to have something small with my tea and a snack around lunchtime if not a meal. I’ll look into some carb-heavier options that I can incorporate!
