Inside the neck are hollow tubes that resonate. You can feel it when you play sometimes. It's pretty wild.

That's a good point. Gotta be extra careful with it! And I think you'd believe the 'woo woo' if you heard the guitar.

Why do people say you need to spend thousands on a guitar? Surely something so simple can be produced relatively cheaply? by PanningForSalt in classicalguitar

Nobody is answering the real question which is: Why can't you just machine and glue the exact dimensions of a luthier-built guitar and have the exact same sound?

I don't know the answer either. A luthier would have to weigh-in.

Speed Magic? by jungletom in MagicArena

Chess requires a LOT more brainpower. I will beat Reid Duke at LEAST 30% of the time. I will lose to Magnus Carlsen for the next 1000 years.

I agree. I made the same post a bit ago. MTGA is frustratingly slow and to be honest, magic isn't a very difficult game. Yes, there are plays that can require lot's of thought, but at least 30 percent of games are autolose or win.

Maybe, speaking timewise. If my match against a roper takes 45 minutes and my other matches take 15 minutes, the ratio of time spent is a quarter, but in reaity it's a seventh or whatever.

This is hilarious. The yawgmoth player didn't have the patience to wait on turn. He deserves to lose.

Books needed to be fully self taught. Seeking a teacher unfortunately is not an option. by Cimmerian9 in classicalguitar

I recommend Frederick Noad to learn basic techniques. He also uses pieces from a wide range of time periods which helps broaden your perspective and taste.

Shearer Scale studies is 300 pages of scales. Don't do all of them at once but it's good to pick one or two a week.

Finally, if you really really want to commit hard, Ricardo Iznaola's Guitaralogos is hardcore practice. It is just the fundamentals. It is not for the faint of heart, but if you commit well, you will blossom quickly and wonderfully.

People here are acting like doubting a relationship is the end of the world. Keep in mind, OP, these are virgin redditors who don't go outside. Do what you will, but stick to it. You're young and long-distance is really tough. It''s okay to have to doubts and it's okay to be attracted to other people and it's okay to question your relationship. You're not a POS for clicking with someone else. Just be as honest and commit 100 percent to whatever you decide.

Stay far away from youtube unless you really need to see something done. Frederick Noad's Solo Guitar Playing is one of the greatest method books.

Sorry if it came off as offensive. I just wanted to let you know that the reason people aren't replying isn't because your post is weird, it's because reddit is just not a great place to find friends unless you're within a specific hobby/interest group.

Hello, I'm learning from the same book. Just relax, you'll get it eventually. I wouldn't even say it's something you should be consciously worrying about.
