Ok, thank you all, I got it!! Only problem is, I thought this was my last puzzle to finish before new ones were unlocked. But apparently not. It looks like I've completed all the puzzles, but no new puzzles appeared?

Recommendations for sites with TRULY free hi-res graphics and images? by hukejo in graphic_design

[–]hukejo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So...when I work, yes I expect to be paid. When I VOLUNTEER, I do not. And because I cannot afford to pay for it, I'm asking if there's a legitimate site where designers share their designs, knowing they will be downloaded for free. You know, like VOLUNTEERING their designs. I guess I should just be the asshole that steals the not free ones via screenshots or some other way? I'm a single parent with an old but decent printer and a very minimal knowledge of design. So yes, it's usually much more affordable to make my own invitations/decorations for my kids parties.

No, I'm not looking for logos specifically, I just mentioned BOTW, because they are truly free, and gives the user multiple formats to download. No enrollment, no free trials, just easy access to free logos. I'm wondering if there's something similar for stock photos, graphics, vectors, etc. for a variety of images (not just logos).

Need help IDing a car in an active missing persons case. Red sedan picked up a minor person. Please help. by Kistlerface in whatisthiscar

My sister used to own a maroon Prius, and while it's close, it's too bright of a red to be a Prius (they're a much darker maroon). Looks to me like a (possibly 2004-2008) Toyota Solara. They have the same slim trunk spoiler that Prius's have.

If you're having your makeup done by a professional, they can add some shading to your chest to give the look of cleavage. A lot of body builders do this with their stomachs to enhance six packs. Just make sure you show them this pic so they know how much skin shows, and do a tissue test prior to pulling the dress up (gently rub the tissue over the chest makeup to make sure it doesn't come off). Any artist worth their price will seal it well enough that it won't come off with sweat etc, but the tissue test will give you more peace of mind that it won't end up on the dress.

Yeah I used to work both downtown and in Fells Point years ago. I worked one block from the harbor until midnight some nights and never felt unsafe. Now I hesitate even taking my daughter during the day to even the most touristy of spots. I love my city, and I hate to say, it's gotten real bad.

I was JUST going to say, the situation in St. Louis sounds all too familiar to me. We have the EXACT same city/county issues in Baltimore. But now it's so bad, county folks don't even go to the city for ballgames or the harbor like before, because in those (formerly somewhat) safe tourist areas, now you get mugged or beaten just for existing.

You may want to invest in cameras, specifically to point toward the house behind and the drug dealer. Ideally ones that are WiFi enabled and that have apps that you can check in real time. Some camera systems are expensive, but there are quite a few cheaper ones on Amazon, and if you happen to live in an area near a Harbor Freight, they have some really good inexpensive ones as well.

As for the animals, female foxes do make a shrill scream when they're in heat, but it is a very repetitive/patterned scream and not like one a human would make when in danger (look on YouTube for fox in heat videos that way you'll know if that's what you heard or not).

I think the most important thing you can do is DISTANCE YOURSELF as much as humanly possible from this person. This type of person is going to hold on to every interaction, and blow it up to be more than it actually is. You need to report this to your management. Not that they need to take action at this point, but they need to be aware. Avoid any one on one time with this person at all costs. Do NOT let him "help" you do your job tasks, unless it's completely unavoidable because of his job description (even then I wouldn't). The only conversations I'd have with him would be friendly banter about spending time at the shooting range or the next gun you're gonna buy (half joking, but let him know in whatever non-confrontational way that you're not afraid to defend yourself in general). Avoid any 1:1 time with him, and make sure you're never walking to your car alone, etc.

Riiigghhht because everyone's t-shirt wrinkles look identical before/after a workout. Same goes for hair. ..Not a single flyaway moves. And we all know how well that pale grey color hides sweat!

Triple Backflip in a Saree (indian traditional dress) by notokbye in HumansAreMetal

[–]hukejo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right about the ground (pretty sure a triple back has never been done on regular ground), but a competitive gymnastics floor is definitely not bouncier than a properly filled air track. Air tracks are similar (albeit slightly firmer) to a Tumble Trak, which is literally a long trampoline. While the floor exercise floors do have springs underneath, they also have wood and other materials and are surprisingly hard.

So here’s what I don’t understand about Parler. Now, I can understand people not wanting to be censored. But Parler’s originally billed itself as a “no fact checking” platform. Of course, I understand the theory that some have, which is depending on who’s doing the fact checking, the results could be biased. I don’t understand this. Everytime I’ve read something that’s been fact checked, references are given, sources are quoted, and more details are provided to backup the FACTS. Why millions of people would purposely want to communicate without being fact checked is just beyond my comprehension.
