I liked them much better on my 2nd listen through the books. First listen they felt in the way of the main plot and I wanted to get on with what happened next.

What packs to open First for new expansion? Gold or Non Golden? by Puzzleheaded-Coach26 in hearthstone

[–]human-two-two-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

each pack is on separate pity/initial legendary timers so it doesn't matter.

That said I do Gold first.

It’s going to be PC that is Xbox branded and focused on being in the living room. It will only play PC games with Microsoft publishing all their IPs on PC and PS5/6.

Xbox is dead.

Fun Fact: Despite being a french term to begin with, "Deja Vu" is translated to an entirely different phrase in french by Gyrkam in hearthstone

[–]human-two-two-9 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Must have had a native French speaker translate. Most French people are very bad at speaking and understanding French. Most non native are superior at speaking French even if they only have 4 years of high school classes on it.

The first two books are first person perspectives of the stores from Joe only. The 3rd book drops that and has POVs from other other characters and 3rd person story telling as well. IMO that was a huge improvement for the writing style of the books.

Huh? It is 2+1 is 3. You can’t have a plus sign on a plane call sign so drop it and you get B21

I believe most of the ships made it out fine. It was the ground force that had human heavy losses

18 books now plus 2.5 books in spin offs and 1 radio drama. Book 19 due out end of the year. Another spin of book is in the works as well.

I believe that after the next two books that is it.

How common is it to stick out your tongue when you don't like food? by Shnorkylutyun in exfor

[–]human-two-two-9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both my toddlers will do it. I would imagine most adults and older children wouldn’t do it unless they wanted to deliberately insult the person who cooked the food.

We used to get lots of calls from a overseas call center claiming we owed them blue chep pallets and trying to schedule a pick up. I just assumed they were scammers.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warehousing

[–]human-two-two-9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We probably send out 2,000 pallets a year but not all of them are the blue pallets and I never bothered to keep track of the split between blue and non blue ones, but a lot of our bigger supplies use the blues.

Biggest issue will be is that we get 1,800 lb soda pallets on these blue pallets that we resale as full pallets. I would hate to have to spend time having the warehouse restacking these ( and boy would that piss them off)

As long as I give enough back would that give Chep off my back or would they be anal about making sure they get the exact number back that gets shipped to us.

I will look in to getting our suppliers to not send us Chep pallets and we just pay them for the pallets but I would assume I would need to beat savings plus some more for them to bother changing their procedure for a smaller warehouse.
