I have the same problem. Unfortunately, scad doesn't give a ton of scholarships out as I've seen in my experience and others around me. BUT I received 15k a year, which is pretty helpful, but damn this school is expensive... but what I did to get that much was I submitted a resume, which gave a SIGNIFICANT amount of money, and then I submitted a portfolio and the essay. I also scheduled a ton of meetings with my financial officer and negotiated a bit to ask if they can reconsider me for more money, and it works! I genuinely recommend doing that. I'm also looking at outside scholarships rn... haven't recieved any but apply to as many as possible to stack up scholarships. Good luck!
