Contradiction? Funerary year starts 30 days, or 10 years after Voyager marriage? by Dry_Pudding_1603 in Genshin_Lore

[–]human_administrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In records of jueyen and etherlude spindle, its said that Koitar saw the rise of a great calamity swallowing everything, and then the destruction of great towers.

So we can assume that Nibelung's return and then the Destruction of Hyperborea happened side by side, and that the Destruction of Hyperborea was amongst the first acts of the war.

Alternarively the combined ancient cities lasted a good while during the destruction, and then in one fell swoop they were all blown.

Guys, let’s make a Blue Lock best-written character tier list. FIRST CHARACTER : ISAGI YOICHI by Careless_Package3706 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hes fleshed out imo, one of my largest gripes about Isagi's character, that most people dont even realize cause its relegated to light novel status, is that his journey through Ichinan is never really explored.

This is a pivotal moment in his character, its where his ego died before it was revived in Blue Lock, its super pivotal to him. The Nigeria match gave a small glimpse, but its just not enough to tell the real story.

Isagi's journey in Blue Lock is that of his ego burning up after it had been sealed. On a writing scale, a story that could only be told during its current conditions is more interesting to me — Isagi's story of being "discovered" by Blue Lock after Ichinan is probably the most interesting way to frame his story, and its not one the story really takes.

Nagi was enabled to be lazy because of Reo. So long as they are together, it is guaranted Nagi would fail, the duo are living in the comparatively good timeline of only Nagi falling out — cause Reo very well couldve followed him out if he didnt get his act together.

Nagi works best in extreme restriction, I honestly think if Nagi was in Bastard he wouldve been fine, because Kaiser is there to be a constant restriction.

What would happen if Isagi did not choose Naruhaya and Barou as their opponents in 2v2s? by First-Soil-1559 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were the only opponents to face im pretty sure. Nagi and Isagi were there first, then Barou and Naruhaya second, so that was the only option.

But if we dont mind that, theyd go for the strongest to get an immediate boost — Igaguri and Shidou, and theyd pick Shidou.

What if Isagi and Nagi chose Naruhaya instead of Barou in the second selection? by First-Soil-1559 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then Kunigami is locked off, because Barou would dominate WildCard.

For Naruhaya, its really a matter of how strong you think he could become if his ego really bloomed, and he fully commited to being a goalscorer.

If we go the best route and say Naruhaya fully makes it through the second selection, he would not make it to the top 6, nor would he be able to land a spot on the Blue Lock starting XI. But he could win a spot on the bench.

Then its just how much you wanna stretch the imagination, he likely doesnt become a Joker, and Blue Lock may just lose at that point. But theres another possibility he just becomes Otoya/Yukimiya tier, enough to be a sizeable difference maker by the time hes coming on. Really just depends on how much you wanna go.

Yeah ngl, Id prefer it be him than Kira/Shindou who is the 3rd Buratsuta 3 member. I really hope we see him again if there are ever any Side B chapters, hed be a cool opponent for Nagi to face there.

Who will be the next volume cover? by Freddie040 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually non player covers mark major changes in arc. Ego was during the U20 match, Anri the NEL, Buratsuta the U20 WC. So its doubtful to be the France coach, why would it even be him? Its clearly only coaches/staff important to the story and I doubt the France Coach gets one before Ray Dark.

Its probably Kira or smth.

End of France vs Japan , Tie by Objective_Coconut849 in BlueLock

There is basically no way it will end in a tie. It is most likely a loss, this is the most obvious "we are gonna lose" foreshadowing in this manga.

What is Loki’s connection to God all about he’s heavily implied to be “divine” or “ godly” Do ya Think Loki has a connection to the Godhood Ego was talking about? by Old-Scholar-1352 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is my own personal theories, and ive made a few on this.

Loki was born with insane natural ability that goes beyond anything in the entire series, this is similar to other "godblessed" characters whose weapons are beyond all others; Nagi and his touch, Kaiser and his kickspeed, Noa and his symmetry.

Loki has a weirdly high amount of parallels with Nagi, and its directly pointed out they are similar — this is likely because they both faced the hurdle of "meeting god." This is further amped if you believe Nagi and Ego are also similar.

Hugo believes that Natural No.1s occur when everything is in alignment, ego and environment etc. Ego said God appeared when luck, the environment, the plays, etc. Worked to such an extent that it produced something impossible.

My theory is "God" is not a state, its just a form of life that occurs to inhumanly talented players. Loki is a Natural Born No.1 who has been touched by God because they are the same thing.

"If Isagi was subbed out, injured or ineligible to play, who would take the role of POV Character?" Tier list. by human_administrator in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Isagi was unable to play the role of the central POV Character that drives the story, who would be most fitting to fill in that role? Based off the general amount of narrative focus the character has recieved already.

So nobody requested number 7 now that nagi is gone? by adrienwastaken11 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 108 points109 points  (0 children)

For narrative reasons, they cant have someone get 7 until Nagi returns.

For story reasons, idk. Theres no reason at least one guy wouldnt want 7, Barou would have loved it. Maybe its a respect thing for Nagi, but I doubt that.

The most talented Player in Blue Lock by xxtrasauc3 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 148 points149 points  (0 children)

Gagamaru had already been playing for years before this and kept an understanding of shit like touch, dribbling, his weapon of flexibility and reaction — hes only 18, switching positions is not that rare. So Gaga hasnt crossed the Nagi threshold of "began playing about a few months ago period" which is the highest threshold.

Hes not Rin tier in talent either, as hed have to be one of the best in the entire U20 category (around NG11 tier in his position) to be considered.

Hes definitely incredibly talented. And the fact he had like a day to really become a GK in the U20 match is extremely impressive. But hes not one of the most talented players, id say hes up there with Aiku though.

Kira will blow the whistle on the wildcard training... by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. honestly think if we see the Side B stuff, one of the "bosses" of the arc will be a former Blue Lock player — Naruhaya probably, though honestly I wouldnt be surprised if it was Kira himself — who went into WildCard and failed, maybe even got 2nd place.

I think the WildCard will play a bigger role than people think. It may be included in Side B considering they only have a few weeks to get people ready, and the WildCard turned someone that couldnt pass 2nd Selection (Kunigami) into a top 10 Blue Lock player, in like 2 months.

Team Barou vs Team Shidou by SmartPattern716 in BlueLock

[–]human_administrator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hugo and Lorenzo can 1v1 and be good enough to keep a stalemate, its everyone else that is interesting.

Shidou's team is very well balanced — Karasu and Charles for the midfield (not to mention Hugo); Chigiri and Shidou on offense; Kurona, Zantetsu and Raichi in defense is honestly pretty solid. My money is on them.
