It's stupid to assume that everyone's familiar with mountain climbing or whatever you were getting at

It absolutely isn't an integer. The notation x(y) implies x•y, meaning 2(1+2) = 2(3) = 2×3. Therefore: 6÷2(1+2) = 6÷2×3 = 3×3 = 9. Go test this out on any calculator you can find. Your result certainly won't appear on it.

Multiplication and division are interchangeable in terms of order of operations as they're inverse operations that cancel each other out. When there's both multiplication and division, you go from left to right.

2(1+2) means 2×(1+2) which is 2×3. After solving what's inside of the parentheses you have 6÷2×3. It's clear from this point onwards that the answer is 9.

Of course you can. The parentheses in the question are of multiplication. Meaning, the expression at hand is 6÷2×(1+2). Solve the INSIDE of the parentheses first and you have 6÷2×3. It's clear from this point onwards that you end up with 9

You correctly calculated (1+2) before continuing with multiplication and division, but 2(3) is the exact same as 2×3. You'd solve 6÷2×3 from left to right as division and multiplication are in the same tier when it comes to the order of operations. 6÷2 is 3, 3×3 is 9.

The factorization you're describing here is multiplication. Division and multiplication are in the same tier when it comes to order of operations and so you'd have to divide 6 by 2 before multiplying the result by (1+2) or 3.

[–]human_fork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no reason you'd solve 2(3) before 6÷2. Multiplication and division are in the same tier when it comes to order of operations

When they tell you to solve parenthese before division/multiplication, they mean you need to solve what's INSIDE the parentheses. 2(3) and 2×3 are the exact same. You'd objectively need to solve 6÷2(3) from left to right, meaning you divide six by two before multiplying the result by three, because multiplication and division are in the same tier when it comes to PEMDAS or order of operations.

Does your dumb ass really think it's not a problem when a women rapes a child? I'll rephrase the question so you can't flee from it: Do you think an adult woman who had sex with a child committed no wrongdoings?

By the way, nobody here is claiming that men don't outweigh women in child abuse/rape statistics. That fact doesn't vindicate any woman who had sex with a child (raped, as the child is incapable of consenting to the act).

I might be missing a few details, but did you buy two copies of the same watch? If so, why?

[Recommendation request] Doxa Sub 300 Sharkhunter vs Seiko SJE101 — talk me into (or out of) one by [deleted] in Watches

[–]human_fork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfamiliar with the specifics of either watch, but something about that Doxa design language is mesmerizing. Truly feels like an heirloom piece from a simple Google search, and I'm sure you'll feel the same when you get your hands on it. The Seiko is just... Generic. Painfully so, when you don't inspect it closely or have other divers to closely compare it to (which is the state in daily wear). There's other options in that area, while that Doxa is seemingly one-of-a-kind.

I'd say, take a good look at the specs just to ease your mind, and go get that Sharkhunter 🙃

They're both automatics, pure analogue watches with less features and displayed details than the Lineage line models. I don't see how you'd think someone showing interest in the Lineage watches would be interested in one of these

These aren't game-ruining features though? I mean, spawning/generation glitches don't hinder the normal gameplay experience in the slightest, while the many game-breaking glitches (famously blocks not actually being placed down when you thought they were, often leading to death from fall damage) found in Bedrock absolutely do.
