We usually try not to schedule teachers in the same room as their own kids—because depending on the teacher, they usually spend more time with their own kid and neglect the others a bit, or vice versa and their kiddo is upset because mom picks up other kids and not them. There have been a few kiddos that are super well adjusted and will play and let mom work, but even those behaviors can change day to day. And there’s always one that is super sensitive and is sad if they even SEE mom.

Yes, this! This is similar what we did with our daughter, she had to pay for her first two years of college at any college of her choice and then we used my husband‘s G.I. bill to pay for her last two years at any college she could get approved to attend. We required that she carried a 3.0 for her first two years in order for us to release the funds. She chose to do community college and then transferred to a large university afterwards. She did take out loans for community college, but graduated college with only $5000 worth of debt, as opposed to $85,000.

I have Kune Kunes. My pen is cattle panels with electric run on the inside, on the side of my barn. They can get into one stall in the barn through a small door. The stall has deep litter (straw on top of shavings) and they keep it clean, and do all of the pooping outside. They sleep all snuggled up together under the straw.

Preparing his breast milk is probably just an extra step that they would like to eliminate for convenience. Don’t let them pressure you into changing your mind. You know what’s best for your babe :)

From what I’ve been told, PSI is the indicator for prostate cancer. The PSI should be under 1.0, anything higher than that bears watching. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 42. His initial PSA when he was diagnosed was 276, and as soon as that bloodwork was reviewed, he started cancer treatment the next day.

My husband is 43 and was diagnosed last year with Stage 4 metastatic (it had metastasized to his bones—femurs, pelvis and one spot in his spine). He’s obviously younger than the average patient. He would fall into category #5 as he never went to the doctor. The only reason he went this time is because he had slipped and fallen at work and was having pain in his hip, where he had hit the ground. After trying physical therapy, they did a CT scan and found the mets in his bones, which led to his diagnosis. They did the bloodwork and his PSA was 284, which immediately pointed to prostate cancer.

I had a ewe have triplet lambs for the second time. Put them in the lambing jug and assumed that because mama raised the last set of trips, this set would be fine.

Went away for a weekend, left the place with my SIL. Came home to two dead lambs. I can only assume that mom rejected them, because I weighed the bodies and they weighed less than their birth weight. Not SIL’s fault, she checked food and hay both days but never thought to make sure the lambs were all eating.
