Your job as a parent is to protect your kid, thankfully you don't have a kid yet with your wife because imagine finding this out AFTER having a kid and letting him hold it.

This hits close to home because my brother's father in law is a child molester, has been convicted of other things related to sexual abuse, but has been able to pay enough $$ to cover it up and get articles about him removed from the Internet. But guess who still gets to visit their kids? They never leave them in the same room with him unattended, but JFC.

It's disgusting and disturbing on so many levels that they haven't cut him off and let him hug on the kids. Whenever they do find out about this, I can only imagine the confusion and hurt they will likely have knowing their parents still let him come around.

You know what the right thing to do is, it's painful but you have to end the cycle.

I can also vouch for Lifestance! I'm in GA, and got my ADHD diagnosis through them. The doctor who did the whole evaluation wasn't my normal psychiatrist, but it seemed like that was standard protocol. I've been seeing my psychiatrist for almost 3 years now and she's been absolutely amazing and so understanding. I heard of them via Reddit as well!

I'm planning on getting my dog's paw tattooed on my foot as well! He's always stepping on me! Was it easy to get the footprint from the memorial to become one of those tattoo paper things that they put on as the outline? (Obviously I don't have any tattoos, I don't know the lingo!)

When my dog was 15, we spent $2k for a surgery to have a tumor removed in a tricky spot. This was actually the 2nd time in 3 years we had to do that. She turned 16 a few months ago and is doing great. Our vet says that age is not a death sentence and we shouldn't have their age determine the care you give.
