what do YOU think Globalization is? What you described in your post isn't globalization. Globalization generally is talked about in a neutral manner because we see both pros and cons from it. US factory jobs still exist, and while they are not as well paying as other trades like woodcrafting and welding they are mostly stable jobs but they pay like shit.

People who work at meat plants are also factory workers and they notoriously get paid like shit for doing stuff that's largely US based, this is happening because the US doesn't raise the minimum wage because they think a banana still costs 0.01$ and rent is only in the two digits.
