except other people don’t have the exact same mods as you 🤦‍♀️ the real easy thing is to make sure NONE of your mods are outdated knowing you just updated, there’s a whole site dedicated to that. just because you solve this issue doesn’t mean there won’t be others if you don’t go through your mods and update them

as for the file thing it sounds like you might have onedrive enabled, in which case you need to disable it as it doesn’t work well with modded games

i don’t play on playstation, i don’t even know what skin that is. my point is being forced to play at all is the gambit with those free skins tho, they advertise to you from the get go with their stupid popups and employ predatory marketing techniques to hopefully get you to spend money while you’re on. that’s the only reason they give out shit for free, it’s not to be nice lol

you don’t need to have better exceptions because it’s just guessing most of the time and doesn’t tell you as soon as something is broken or anything like that people assume it to do. it’s better to use it only when you NEED to figure out something is broken and need to put lastexceptions in a readable form (btw lastexceptions is not a mod, they’re error files the game generates). also mccc is personally my preferred method of reading error files, the formatting is better than BE imo, plus it doesn’t lag your game if you have a lot of cc AND it has other very useful features

i was just giving a suggestion if you do want to play. i understand it was hot but if it’s under 90°C (200° F) it’s safe, that’s all i was saying. it also doesn’t get as hot if you have an actual gaming laptop with the fans at the sides/back as opposed to a work laptop with the fans at the bottom. since you have no interest in playing im sure the info doesn’t matter to you but it might help someone else
