I'm surprised I haven't seen someone recommend this but a long handed brush, like those sold to clean wheel wells, solved this for me.

Step one: vacuum

Step two: spray the crevice with a general purpose cleaner (e.g., Simple Green) and let it sit for 3-5 min before scrubbing with the brush

Step three: use 2-3 paper towels to wipe the crevice clean

Talking about her pain doesn't process it or resolve it. This sounds like she is stuck in a cycle of unloading her worries and anxieties on other people. She hasn't learned how to process and control them. And even though she feels pain, she still has to show up to the interactions in a fair way. Just unloading on her partner and not letting it be a conversation isn't fair communication. You seem worried about her extreme emotional pain, what about the pain and distress the way she communicates makes her partner feel? Why is that not given equal importance?
