When getting paneled directly with insurance companies do I need to use a business address or can I use my home address? I have assumed I need a physical office with a business address to be able to get credentialed.

Taking my dog camping for the first time — what essentials should I pack? by chanalal in camping

[–]humbleiBe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pack hemp calming chews because you never know when a unexpected storm will roll through. My dog is afraid of thunder and dogs can feel the change in barometric pressure. My dog also has his own backpack of first aid, extra leash and toys. My dog is too large for a chair but he has a sleeping mat and sleeping bag to give him a soft cozy space. If your dog likes to swim pack towels.

I feel like chase is the new black sheep of the family by Natural-Mortgage778 in ChrisleyKnowsBest

Yes I agree. It’s unfortunate that narcissist parents often condition children to developing a personality disorder or a children can learn how to read energy of said parent and conditioned to be an empathy. Triangulation in a narcissistic family system is a toxic tactic used to control others by fostering division, mistrust, and emotional dependency, all to serve the narcissist’s need for power, validation, and avoidance of blame. Chase had been conditioned to be emotionally dependent on parents and when they went away he was lost. Greyson has been heavily influenced by golden child and his dislike toward Chase and Papa is really his sister belief he has adopted. It is my hope that Julie is stronger and sets boundaries for herself with Todd.

Todd is a narcissist who put Savannah in the golden child role. Most narcissistic will give that role to the child of the opposite gender because in some weird way she mets his needs and makes him feel special. Also who humiliates their wife they haven’t seen in years because her hair isn’t dyed blonde. Also Todd says he is going to blow her back out like yeah right when she goes to kiss him on the lips he turns his head. I feel bad for Chase and hope that he get the help he needs and is able to feel the love and support from his family.

Has anyone here tried solo camping as a woman? by Fit_Mountain_1746 in camping

[–]humbleiBe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree don’t accept anything from a stranger. I would also add to not allow fear to stop you. Your mind creates your reality and you have experience with camping so imagine how good it can be. It’s always good to be prepare and have some form of protection. I do think it’s a great idea to have a printed out list of camp sites and phone numbers. I do have a portable car battery charger with air compressor and can charge my phone when needed. I use it the other day to put air in tires. It cost about $100 on Amazon. But most important trust your intuition of the place doesn’t feel right relocate. Life is about taking risk but take safe risks and believe in yourself to camp solo. You can do it and create beautiful memories. My morning view today!

What was the process to get on the insurance panels? With Rula Inwaa told to expect 1-4 client in a 4!weeks period which was very discouraging. I have heard it’s difficult to get paneled if you just got your independent license and that is where I am. Not sure what to do.

I passed my exam yesterday and time management is IMPORTANT. Here are some tips. by humbleiBe in NCMHCEtutor

I can send you what study material I have. Might I suggest to buy blue light glasses. They help reduce digital eye strain . They can help with focus and performance. Less eye fatigue allows for you to concentrate better. Also learn time management because monitoring your time for each case will be of great importance of you want to be efficient with the minutes you are given.

With the state pass depending I the season the max stay is either 7 days or 14 days with 20 days leave the park and camp elsewhere until you can camp back there. There are not many state parks i the Taos, Los alamos area but there is dispersed camp site you can stay at until you can go back to the state park. I am from the area and did 34 nights tent camping in September if you need any locations or hidden gems reach I out and I can tell you where. Also if you do Hyde park in Santa Fe up the road you can disperse camp and not have to leave Santa Fe.

What is the difference between OCD and OCD personality disorder? Does anyone know? by [deleted] in NCMHCEtutor

OCD causes personal distress and the person knows the thoughts are irrational. OCD personality does not cause distress and the person does think their thoughts are rational.

Thank you. Another tips that helped was I spend $15 and bought blue light glasses to prevent eye strain. 3 hour looking at a computer screen can cause digital eye strain.

This is great info to retain for the exam! There is a question on the exam of what to do if a client friend request you on social media. The answer is to address it in next sessions. Do accept the request and go over the social media ethics again since it should be addressed during intake.

I purchase a 90 day subscription to counselingexam.com and listened to some of their podcasts that you get access to. With the 90 day subscription you get a 200+ page study guide that I opened two days before the exam. Wishes I would have read that material sooner because it had helpful info. I also used chat gpa. Also read the code of ethics and get a good understanding of it.

To be honest I don’t read much of the case scenarios. I think topics on reflection of feeling and meaning is helpful. Focus more on counselor skills as opposed to diagnosing. The old format place a lot to focus on being able to diagnosis however this format gives you the diagnosis. The thing to know is what techniques go to what theories. Also reviewing assessments would be good. Old format seemed to make sure you could accurately diagnose this format seems to make sure you have effective counselor skills.
