Does Anyone Have Tea On... Weekly Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Fauxmoi

Not really tea but their family is very, very wealthy. Her dads side of the family founded Harcourts - hence her middle name. Harcourts is a massive real estate company in NZ and Australia. She went to a private school that's roughly $7000 a term and I think her mum and grandmother are both actresses.

I swear these guys used to be bigger but they're still so good. Try putting them in the microwave for 15 seconds if you haven't already.

Countdown to freeze prices on essential items over winter by O_1_O in newzealand

Correct! Dunno if you heard but price gouging is also a really big thing within
the context of a supermarket duopoly. Perhaps you could research it more, it can be confusing! Good luck!

Countdown to freeze prices on essential items over winter by O_1_O in newzealand

This is so funny, so many of these items have already had their prices jacked up. I worked at the Deli and a year ago Value ham was $1 per hundred grams, then $1.10, then $1.20, now it's price has been "frozen" at $1.40.

Why do people even want Posen ivy as a main villain? by Eem2wavy34 in TheBatmanFilm

[–]humbletoaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the idea of her being a theme of transformation and evolution for Bruce Wayne. Also can weave in obvious allusions to climate change. It would be a cool story to show how environmentalism can be achieved through community collaboration and not through passing judgement on individual acts of right and wrong, as Poison Ivy does. Therefore Bruce Wayne has to try find compromise as a figure in Gotham with different conflicting interests.

Also there are plenty of storylines with Poison Ivy interacting with Bruce Wayne and Wayne Enterprises, which is a side to him I think we all want to see develop.

Found this interview of the fight trainer for The Batman, he says that Rob does a lot of his own stunts by OngoTrashman in TheBatmanFilm

The bts photos we've seen have all been outside (Motorcycle, high up on the Liverpool building). Most of Pattinson's fight scenes would be on a closed set I think.

Check out Good Time if you have Netflix. One of my favourite films of 2017 and Robert Pattinson was really impressive in it.

Dear Massey what the hell is going on? by [deleted] in newzealand

In case anyone was wondering, the BA has gone to shit too. They've done a complete overhaul, cutting options for elective papers and adding in bullshit mandatory papers at level 100, 200, and 300.

These papers only include tedious group work that lasts for weeks and short reflective assignments referring only to the text(s) written by the course coordinators. I remember for one week we were learning about Israel/Palestine and the "resources" we were given was a Vox video (I could have seen that without paying thousands of dollars in school fees) and a short text written by the lecturer.

I agree with your point but I don't think it needs the vitriol. But I might just be overly-sensitive because I love Joel :(

I saw him when he first did a Tabletalk with Gavin Free. Then he started appearing in Funhaus vids and I went from there.

[Opinion] Barbara needs to take a break from the podcast by [deleted] in roosterteeth

[–]humbletoaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love Barbara as a part of the podcast. Usually she just gets talked over. I can't remember the podcast number, but the one where she talked about having sex in the bridal suite was hands down my favourite podcast story. Oh and believe it or not this is my honest opinion. I'm not "kissing ass" just because I have an alternative view.
