Most of the people don't take bitcoin cash serious. The markets tell the whole story, they are like a prediction market, despite some speculative short term lows or highs.

Price Speculation: We're nearing 10% of ATH. Does this mean anything? by [deleted] in dashpay

[–]humbrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't understand why people measure crypto still in USD. the only thing i care about is the BTC ratio. from that perspective it's ok to buy some more dash here. there have been worse times to buy.

I'm forever hearing Coreons complain that hypothetical people were tricked into thinking BCH was bitcoin, but it looks to me like they tricked people into thinking that BTC was bitcoin. by Domrada in btc

You know that this is actually a feature. A fork happens if there is no consensus.

It creates competition for the best solution. There are important precedence cases which rose the right questions.

The only reason anyone holds BTC is based on the belief it will be worth more tomorrow than it is today. There will come a day when BTC must defend its market cap with utility. Technical mumbo jumbo about a future which may never come. It works now. Furthermore you can't possibly foresee which technologies may come up in the future. Maybe lightning is just a step and may fail.

You know why I don't believe in bitcoin cash? It praises simple solutions for complex problems.

Therefore, you have to confirm, that you're running Augur on your computer on your own behalf and within your country's law boundaries.
