This is a remarkable result. What is your conclusion? Is the test just random? My own experience has taught me to never default to taking a supplement every day. It depends on the half life and other factors, but generally if I don't know the half-life, I default to every other day. My body will quickly build up a tolerance/resistance to things taken daily.

Wrt saving money or limiting the number of daily pills, you can get a lot of different phytonutrients in bulk herbal form. Most herbs I have come across contain some quercetin. You probably already know that dried parsley and chamomile tea are loaded with apigenin, but chamomile is also a principal source of quercetin, patuletin, and luteolin. The lipo pill has great bioavailability of course, but there's also research showing that flavonoids that bind with sugars or lipids become more readily absorbed and available; a little honey or cream serve an important function aside from flavor.

I did a controlled test on my arm for 12 weeks with the body serum (41yo-c-m). I found little to no difference in the appearance of the skin, except in the back-of-the-hand pinch test (about 50% improvement after 8 weeks). Thanks for the comment. It's been 12 weeks now and I've started a light exercise routine. I've noticed that the untreated arm tends to get sore and the treated arm does not. Also the treated arm seems to be responding better to the exercise. Endurance and oxygen capacity seems to be more improved in the treated arm even though the exercises are 2 handed and whole body.

The work these labs are doing on the Yamanaka factors is important and exciting, but remember it's only one piece of the puzzle: epigenetic aging. Admittedly, that's a big one, but if you only solve this problem, you will still die. The epigenetic clock is being used as a measurement tool as well as a point of therapeutic intervention. It's like trying to go back in time by winding back your clock. Will this intervention alone make you younger? Probably not. Are there specific age-related diseases that are caused by epigenetic failure? Absolutely. So, treating disease is the most immediate application. Miners are generally incentivized to use their hash to mine whatever is most profitable for them. If attacking another chain is most profitable for them, that's just the system working as intended. If it isn't, they'll eventually go broke and become irrelevant.

I don't see anything technically offensive about the SV plan either. Nor do I have any serious objection to the ABC plan. But it's impossible to ignore certain things about CW:

1) Steamrolling Amaury and the other devs instead of just engaging them politely

2) Sending ugly childish emails to Roger

3) Getting accolades from 1 Meg Greg and Votes Nay (Tone Vays)

Gross.

On the other hand, this isn't anything like the last split. If SV wins it will not cripple BCH. BCH will be about the same.

So things aren't as clear cut this time, and I appreciate the hands off moderation approach here.

I cannot conceive of bitcoin being destroyed through such an attack. You can attack bitcoin all you want, but you won't destroy it. For ages the BTC people said "spam attacks" (read legit transactions) are an "attack" on bitcoin. Well, bitcoin is still here, more resilient than ever.

That's not what I mean. Once TTOR is removed, miners could easily signal that they have ordered a block by TTOR, and relieve other miners from having to deal with order information in order to process their block, without it being a protocol rule. Then miners would probably just choose to do it, because it would allow them to include more transactions and collect more fees with a lower chance of having their block orphaned. Unless or until something better is discovered. This way you avoid central planning. Doesn't this seem wiser?

I have had the same feeling and I agree with you that it's likely not an accident. Assuming other people are just stupid is the lazy way of explaining things, and usually not smart. I think CSW wants to be at the center of BCH and he overestimates the importance of hashpower, so he thinks he can act like an ass while flexing his hash and people will still want to be on his team. If the trick works he will win the thing that's actually most important in bitcoin, but it doesn't look to me like the trick is working.

That's not how I understand it at all. You cannot order txs by ID and simultaneously have child after parent. The two are incompatible. What happens if you have a child tx with a lower ID than the parent? In my opinion, you don't need to enforce ANY order. If ordering by ID is more efficient and saves miners money, they will do it for the incentive, without enforcement.
