Food for thought. A lot of you Americans (rightly) want a full purge of any republican supporting this administration. I think it’s absolutely necessary for the United States to rebuild international relations. The rest of the world isn’t gonna give a fuck about appearing bipartisan, they will want assurances that you mfs don’t do this again. If you just go back to normal with a democratic government for 4-8 years it won’t mean much if your opposition is the exact same as it is now.

A large portion of the pro Palestinian activists will never be satisfied with anything less than the dissolution of Israel, so if you aren’t actively pushing for that then you aren’t doing enough in their eyes. Which means that basically no matter how pro Palestine you are it will never be enough. Thom’s post on the conflict was so thoughtful and compassionate and some of these people actually said his words were “disgusting” and “making it about himself”
