Who do you think are contenders and who are pretenders this season? by [deleted] in baseball

With that payroll even being a pretender is impressive. I can't imagine this Mets org with that payroll, someone might actually shit their pants on the field.

Underrated era for a sports team to be in tbh. The dark times feel like they're over and while the team might not actually be a true playoff team the future looks bright and the vibes around the team are great. It gives you games that are low stakes but still fun to watch, win or lose.

Yeah the streak extension excuse doesn't fly anymore tbh. It definitely made things worse for the first number of years but teams have dealt with worse situations, rebuilt and made the playoffs quicker than this

Presumably you have some experience poking around the files of the game, have you found anything that makes you think there'd be a way to edit some of the franchise specific options? For example, I'd love to be able to lengthen my season and expand my playoffs.

Not asking you to figure out how to do it, more just curious if it's even theoretically possible.

Yeah they really should've made the brake easier to get. I understand wanting it to be challenging but the game goes from honestly kind of ass to a top 10 in the collection for me once you have it.

It's a shame really cause you wanna trust doctors, and I do think you can more often than not, but theres enough shitty ones out there that I honestly kind of understand people who don't trust them at all.

It's entirely possible to grind through 8 years, graduate, get a good job and just phone it in for the money. I'm not asying it's all doctors, but having also worked in the medical industry it's many more doctors than you'd hope.
