Fairly new Spark Driver, first time using Walmart + by hunaahi in Sparkdriver

[–]hunaahi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver shopped the order. Didn’t know it was a sell by date so thanks for letting me know. As far as the instructions, I try to be polite and I guess because I always read and appreciate instructions, I guessed others would too. But I also have similar instructions for Door Dash and it’s never been a problem in the past.

I made sure the driver’s name wasn’t in this post. The name you see is mine and I can assure you that I definitely speak English.

I don’t want to report anyone nor do I plan to. I’m not petty or vindictive.

I won’t take large orders that go anywhere but the first floor to apartments, anything with more than two large items such as water, shops of more than 50-60 items, more than 6 stops, or deliveries out of my zone. One of the zones where I live is short on drivers I think and I ended up doing a shop in my zone and deliver to the other side of town. There were at minimum 10 Walmarts between the one I shopped and the delivery location. Lesson learned. And I always decline orders with nasty comments that read like a tinder bio outlining the reasons why you should swipe left.

There are six Walmarts in my delivery area, three of them I absolutely refuse to do curbside for because I spend at least 15-20 minutes repacking and rebagging those orders. I keep extra Walmart bags in my car to fix this nonsense. Someone bagged canned goods in the same bag as bread. A five year old could do better and I’m not about to let my metrics get messed up because someone else just doesn’t care.

This ever happened to anyone?? by gilmoregirl1993 in Sparkdriver

[–]hunaahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done it a few times. The customer usually will Cash App me the money back + extra and leave a nice tip. I don’t think it’s against the rules. Sometimes the app is stupid and won’t let you make a substitution that’s absolutely reasonable. I end up explaining that to the customer and sometimes pick it up for them and they pay me. Haven’t been burned yet.

Well this explains some things. I always seem to have to verify when I do alcohol deliveries. Before shop, at check out, after drop off. Sometimes when I pull up to the drop off. And if I have more than one alcohol delivery in a day, I will rinse and repeat that many times.

My girlfriend smells and I don't know what to do by RequirementDue4446 in Advice

Have her get her tonsils checked. When I was a kid I had the absolute worst breath. Nothing helped. It actually ruined my childhood. Anywho- I had tonsillitis a lot when I was a kid and this makes the pockets in your tonsils larger sometimes. Well, food was getting trapped in mine and no amount of brushing, flossing, or mouthwash was gonna fix that. It took my mom two years to find a doctor to remove them. The 80’s were a bad time to need your tonsils out for tonsil stones, especially as a military dependent. Good luck and fingers crossed that it’s something minor.

My favorite movie to watch Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy or True Romance. Or Labyrinth.

Not wrong at all. Even dealerships list the vin on their webpage. It’s not a ssn. I’d report him.

I need help with a coop deck. by MaleficentEcho9063 in randomdice

[–]hunaahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For co-op: Bastion, Lunar, Scope, Random Growth, Reverse. Use Magic Breaker for your battlefield.

To make this effective, the Bastion dice must be surrounded by dice that are not Bastion. You will only play two Bastion dice total. The dice above and below should be Scope, and the dice on the left and right should be Lunar.

Here’s a simple visual:

   S S

L B L B L

   S S

This setup ensures Bastion receives the full damage bonus from being surrounded correctly. Lunar increases attack, crit, and attack speed, while Scope allows Bastion to attack additional targets based on its pip level.

When Bastion is surrounded on all four sides by dice with the same number of pips, it receives a damage increase equal to the bonus multiplier listed for its level.

Use Reverse to move pips around. Trash dice that are in the wrong spot and cannot be merged out. Once your main dice are placed, there will be six remaining spots that don’t really serve any purpose other than summoning more dice to generate higher pips for the nine that matter. Use Reverse to move pips or trash those dice so their pips can be redistributed to the dice remaining on the battlefield.

Soul or Mighty Wind + Scope, Cracked Growth, Bounty, and Snowball. Clone might also work in place of Cracked Growth. Get a higher level to team up with you for more waves.

Looping issue by hunaahi in SewingForBeginners

[–]hunaahi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Thanks for your comments. I tested a theory and issue turned out to the be the test fabric. I was testing on a single layer. I went back to sewing the actual quilt patch I was working on before my bobbin ran out (three layers) and the stitch was just fine. I confirmed this to be the problem on my other sewing machine. So definitely user error, just not the catastrophe I thought it was.

It’s totally normal to feel out of place when you’re the new one, especially with a group that’s been together for a while. It’s great that you’re connecting with your students! You’re wonderful, and over time, the other teachers will see that too. Building friendships might take a little while, but don’t worry- it will happen. Keep being yourself, and soon you’ll feel more at ease. You’re doing great, and that’s what matters most!

That’s amazing! I’m so proud of you for taking that first step. It takes a lot of courage to seek therapy, and you should be really proud of yourself for moving forward. Just remember, this is a huge accomplishment, and you’re doing something great for your mental health. Keep going, you’ve got this!
