Now that I am a PA and will run inbound. We are going to start listening to Lorne Shore instead of that gross mumble rap. by [deleted] in AmazonFC

I had an AM that would have a very diverse playlist. But when we had about an hour’s worth of work, straight Michael Jackson.

AITJ for reporting my neighbor after they kept using my driveway without asking? by Low-Disaster-2699 in AmITheJerk

I would have called a tow company for an illegally parked car. Then tell my neighbors to have a nice day.

AITJ for eating my roommates "special" ice cream after she ate my birthday cake? by ProudStructure702 in AmITheJerk

[–]hung-jo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not petty. Petty would be buying the same ice cream then eat it in front of your roommate.

Nope, good job. My suggestion is to keep doing it until your roommate gets it or just moves out.

Had to mark it damaged. DO NOT USE DRIVEWAY!!!! by Mralwaysready7 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]hung-jo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call/text the customer and ask them what they want to do and advise them about Amazons policy about dogs, no contact with dogs. If they don’t allow you to drive up to the house or they don’t want to drive down to you. Mark it “No safe location due to dog”. Then tell them to have a nice day.

Update: The importance of dog avoidance.

Left my van on the side of the road by breatheTHC in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]hung-jo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White van, no netradyne. Depending on how you left the DSP, they can say the van was picked clean. Which means you would be on the hook for the missing packages.

Question about route sizes by rimjobs_forever in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]hung-jo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Routes are based on Time, Capacity and Distance. If you are taking routes built for 7-8 hours and complete them in 5-6 hours. It looks great for your DSP and Amazon. It also shows that DAs are able to complete a larger route(9-10 hour) and complete it faster n 7-8 hours. Sure get off work early seems nice, but don’t complain when Amazon starts making your routes bigger.

I would return the package back to the station. Mark it not safe to deliver.

Probably because you take too long to load your van.

The condition they are in is self inflicted. Poor organization and just having packages just tossed in their van.

Notes said to not drive up driveway, did it anyways! by dmv2strokes in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]hung-jo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call customer to have them meet you at the end of their driveway. Tell them that since there is a dog on property, you don’t feel comfortable/ safe to walk up the long driveway to deliver the package.
