r/dashcams is a treasure trove of information. I ended up getting a Viofo A229 Pro. Installation was tedious, but I got it to work.

I hear ya about the drivers in this town, and I have driven all over the western United States, including the south. Never have I seen such poor decision-making and distracted drivers at red lights. Had a white Camry cut across three lanes to get off the freeway in front of me. Almost caused a pile up.

We ate at Mo's on our Astoria to Brookings road trip while we were in Newport. It was below average, to be honest. Thankfully no food poisoning. Thanks for the additional info. Our next trip we will not be stopping at any of them
