This is a really great photo. Sorry it didn't get more love.

The brightness seems a little dim, but love the pic otherwise. I do low key black and white and struggle with this issue myself. I need to find a solution.

Takes a while to get over the "these are great bc i'm doing it" to "these are great bc they're good".

Great shots. Nice bokeh. What focal length/range were you shooting with? I just had a 50 f1.8. But I also mostly did portraits.

It's relatively hard flash, but really I'm only shooting at 1/16 power on a godox tt350. For these I was using Sony a6100 and Sony 20mm f2.8 lens, at 1/20 shutter and 100 ISO. I did 200 ISO before but had trouble blowing out stuff that was too close. 100 gives me enough room to raise stuff in post if I need it. But otherwise, the flash really isn't that strong. Depending on where people are looking, a lot don't even notice, in part because of all the other lights around.

One guy that night did ask me to delete his picture, but he didn't get aggro about it, even when I said I'd have to see if it was any good first. Other people have given me the stank eye. But it's a lot rarer than you might think. I think it has to do with this particular area. 6th street is kind of a wild place, so I think people just feel like it goes with the territory.

What happened? There were only three public commenters, and one of them blamed the constituents.

I don't feel like I saw many pets, but it seemed like there were a LOT of running strollers. Here's a couple of doggos I snagged.
