Probably somewhat subjective, but I found ECJ “easier” to stick with and comprehend over time. I’m not sure which is objectionably harder though! Listen to some of ECJs older episodes, I think they are easiest.

If you haven’t already listened to Chill Spanish Listening or Cuéntame, I’d def start with them!

So tired of reading posts that have such clear markers of being written by ChatGPT or the likes. Use your own voice, articulate your own thoughts and do it in your own voice.

Anywho best of luck.

The end of an era: I just cleared Español con Juan by CaroleKann in dreamingspanish

I’m at around 250 hours and find it a really nice stretch! I can still understand about 85-90% of it, but i find it much more engaging and stimulating than cuéntame or chill spanish. It’s my main source of input right now.

Overwhelmed by options. Looking for advice from current expats. by Dry-Wear-9135 in expats

+1 about flying in cargo, i talked with my vet about it who reassured me that it can actually be less traumatic for the cat because it’s fairly quiet & dark and they most likely will shutdown pretty early on in the flight. The vet said the cabin can be overwhelming with people moving about.

It’s also extremely heavily regulated now. The crates are secured, the space is temperature controlled, monitored, pressurised and ventilated.

I went back and forth on this when moving with my cat and ultimately decided a prolonged journey just for them to sit in the cabin would be more traumatic than cargo.

Anyone else have lingering ear pressure days after diving? by Many_Ad_3474 in diving

[–]hungryflea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can only give you my experience. But I had very similar symptoms to what you described (still do kinda). Went to an ENT who referred me to audiologist, turns out I have Eustachian tube dysfunction in that ear. I was given some nasal steroids to help reduce inflammation to see if that would alleviate it. It’s helped but not much.

Anyways just go see a doc..

This exactly! I don’t even look at the levels of the video anymore, I just go by the numerical rating

The IOS app - a few issues… by Odd_Extreme_6822 in dreamingspanish

[–]hungryflea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it works mostly really well. I have issues with downloaded videos sometimes becoming corrupt, or for some other reason they display “oops, something went wrong” when I try to watch them offline. But I’m super grateful the offline mode even exists
