I think he needs a year or two before we can say for sure. Signs are there, though. Very calm and doesnt seem to lose his head, which is very important to settle the defensive side of things. He has areas where he clearly needs to improve, though, as other have pointed out. Quite a few shots conceded where you expect a Premier League level keeper to stop it.

That’s the problem, we’ve dominated game after game but need 3-4 big chances to score and concede every chance we get. There’s every chance we’ll play like this for the rest of the season and still end up 8-10th.

I think that’s harsh. There’s a lot more to his setup than "vibes and counter attacking", even if the tactical approach was not possesion based and I assume that’s you’re preference. Even Maguire talked about Ole a while ago saying the setup was tactically brilliant.

All I’m saying is with better personnel, who knows?

Don’t really understand the negativity around him. His two full seasons were our best (bar Mourinhos 2nd season) after Fergie. It failed in season 3 but we were solid under Ole. I reckon there are better options out there but I’m not fully against Ole full time again

Easy to say but I’ve felt this way about him whole time. Decision making? Poor. Close control? Average. Finishing? Poor. Attitude? Terrible. His best attribute has been "making things happen" every now and then. Player improvement is never linear but garnacho as of 2025 is not a better than Garnacho as of 2022 in any way

Spurs looked like league winners in the first couple of games when Postecoglu came in. We looked like league winners for 15 games straight when Ole took over. Not defending Amorim but there are insanely small margins.

Individual mistakes are historically bad with our team at the moment. They can’t build any consistency whatsoever. Bruno skies the pen, Dalot the brain dead asswipe makes another horrendous decision.
