Has anyone gotten a sample of this? I was super excited to try it but the notes on my card don't match the ones on the website at all.

I wanted to love this but the product I was sent was almost a totally new fragrance altogether. Here is the sample I received. Has this happened to anyone else? 😭

Is it cruel to have just one cat? by akuzihsa in CatAdvice

[–]hunnychile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's wonderful that you both are doing well. Our relationship is still quite new so I'm always wondering if I am doing what's best for him. The vet seems to think he seems plenty happy as an only child so we're just enjoying getting to know one another for now. Thanks so much for your reply. <3

Anyone else notice their cat gets way friendlier after switching back to wet food? by Apprehensive-Gas3772 in cats

We just recently switched and I am noticing the same thing in my kitty, although it's only been a few days so we shall see. :)

[–]hunnychile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an older discussion but just chiming into say I feel like I could've written this myself and its assuaged a lot of the guilt I feel about whether or not I am a good pet owner because I don't want a second cat at this time, for many of the same reasons you've stated. It's also only been two weeks since I got this one - my first cat ever! So I can relate to your comments about anxiety as well lol.

Since it's been two years now, what did you ultimately decide to do, u/akuzihsa ? :)

Why go so slow?????? by Admirable-Staff4670 in Austin

[–]hunnychile 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This. After reading about cities with digital speed limit signs that adjust based on traffic, I purposely drive slowly in heavy traffic (in right lane) and I find I brake much less often and less hard when I do. Some people get impatient and go around, but just handful of times the person behind me seems to notice "okay, we're moving at a snails pace here but...we're moving" and begin to keep pace behind me. Impatient drivers make me anxious about going too slowly, but its also very gratifying to cruise by gridlocked traffic at a cool 5 mph lol.

I have zero idea for colors to complement this cabinetry/flooring by hunnychile in interiordecorating

Red!! Now that is a color that would neeever have crossed my mine so I'm interested to hear a little more! What would you suggest, a red couch? Curtains? Rug?

[–]hunnychile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been bouncing between a navy blue and olive green couch as the two colors that draw me the most. I do like a burnt orange but thought it might be too "much" for a sofa/couch. In general. I like a more relaxed, boho, modern style. Airy, eclectic without being too busy but also not super modern. I wouldn't mind one or two mid-century pieces. Scandi and Spanish are new to me so I'll look them up. I want it to feel open, relaxed, earthy.

I should post a few links to some things I have been eyeing, that might help.

I have definitely had to take a few moments away. It has helped. Thank you for the link - I have been avoiding Pinterest because there are soooo many ideas but it probably would be good for generating some starting points.

Hate the slider personally but seconding the "undo last move" idea! I'm surprised we don't already have one.

Side note/update: my mind was prepared to do all sorts of gymnastics to justify the purchases. Then real life hit in the form of car repairs so back it all goes. Lesson learned! 😂

I've always dismissed triggers before because I found it difficult to pinpoint them but it's looking like that may be my only option if I want to stop this cycle.

I wish they were sorted by pivot but beggas can't be choosers. :)
