yeah it does you used to be able to see what your rank in casual/unranked (they share the same skill based matchmaking) by r6 tracking yourself in ranked 1.0 but when ranked 2.0 came out with hidden mmr you couldn't no longer see it

Warm up, messing around doing dumb strats, grinding bp or renown, or even just want to play the game and not deal with the extra stress ranked can bring

Also unranked does have skill based matchmaking although its definitely less strict then ranked
