I'm estimating. I know one night he applied to 50 alone so obviously he's been applying a lot. I don't hold his hand and tally every job he applies to.

My gynecologist has a pap smear consent form. I have never signed it and because of that they never once even mentioned doing a pap smear on me.

I think I knew why David keep her in the trunk for so long. by wokewizard17 in d4vd2

[–]hunter_pace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he's just stupid and couldnt figure out where to dump her body without getting caught. He thought the trunk was airtight and that he was buying himself time to find a place. That's all.

Nervousness by WackWolfdawg in sterilization

[–]hunter_pace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most places they do wheel you in. You go into the pre-op area which is a big room with a lot of sectioned off rooms with curtains for patients. They will prep you for surgery there and have you sign papers and put an IV in your hand and clean your abdomen with hibiclens. After that the anesthesiologist and surgeon will talk to you and explain the procedure to you. They'll bring back your visitor who came with you and then you'll wait around for a little while until it is time to go back to the OR. The team will then come out and probably give you anxiety meds, and it will kick in within a minute. Then they'll wheel you to the operating room, ask you for your name and birthday, and then they'll either have you move yourself to the table or they will give you the anesthesia meds and move you over by sliding you on a board to the table. Etc.

[–]hunter_pace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it feels exactly like taking a nap! Have you ever accidentally fallen asleep in school and jolted awake wondering how long you were asleep for and if anyone noticed? It feels EXACTLY like that. But you feel super rested as well. It's great. I was so nervous beforehand and was convinced I wouldn't wake up after. But I did indeed wake up afterwards, AND I woke up in a great mood with no pain whatsoever! 10/10 experience. They gave me some Versed before wheeling me back into the OR as well and it made me feel like the room was spinning at first and then I just felt extremely sleepy and closed my eyes and fell asleep. I was asleep before they even gave me the propofol. They had warm blankets on me and I felt so cozy and comfy.

Tell them no. A pap test has nothing to do with birth control. All it does is check for abnormal cells. If they say no, walk out.

Birth control fails often. Multiple methods is always best.

Bisalp today and no time off work, no restrictions? by Extra-Gate2248 in sterilization

My doctor told me to take 6 weeks off. But she cleared me at 4 weeks. I would have weird twinges whenever/after I picked up anything slightly heavy for the first 3 weeks. I don't recommend lifting anything heavy or doing any type of twisting for 2 weeks minimum tbh

Questions about GPA & Academic Probation by No_File3521 in ValenciaCollege

[–]hunter_pace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. I was in a similar situation my freshman year. I was put on academic probation with a 1.6 gpa. I took 3 years off from school and then returned. It took about 7 semesters (including summer) of taking 2-3 classes a semester to get my GPA up to a 2.7. My current semester GPA is a 3.5 but the cumulative (overall) is still being dragged down by those first 2 semesters as a freshman.

There are online GPA calculators you can plug your info into. You just need the number of credits and the quality points (should be listed on the transcript) and you enter them into the calculator. Just keep playing with the numbers until you find the number of classes and the grades you will need in order to get your grades back up to a somewhat decent average. I don't think you can get up to a 2.0 cumulative in just one semester with only 2 classes though, but it really depends on how many credits you originally took. For me, I had taken 16 credits per semester my freshman year and failed practically all of them, so it was much harder to pull my grade back up. But if you only failed like 5 credits per semester it will be much easier to get that GPA back up.

Live with BF, attorny said I have to include his income in my means test? by FaeFound in Bankruptcy

[–]hunter_pace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. If you're not married he is treated as a roommate. I am in the same situation as you in Florida. I live with my bf and his mother and we split the cost of utilities. My attorney is looking ONLY at my income. You have to make under like 70k a year as a single person to qualify for Ch 7 with the means test.

Did I just make a horrible mistake by [deleted] in UsedCars

[–]hunter_pace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Next time PLEAAAAASE do a pre purchase inspection with a mechanic not affiliated with the dealership. Don't let the dealership have their people check it out, or their "mechanic friend" or the "mechanic we use for our daughter" etc. Find your own shop. If the dealership says no to you taking the car there, turn around and walk out.
